I remember meeting Kim for the first time and LJHS.  She was one peppy sort.laugh She had a great smile and loved being the center of attention.  Kim had a sense of style even then. She was always a fashion queen.  I did not realize she had passed.  Rest in Paradise, little one.

I met Kim before we got to Junior High, her Grandparents owned Phil's Candy Store and Luchenett on Doughty Boularvard across from Arcerie's Market. I met her there when we were about 8 years old.  She was as pretty as a doll.  Her mother's parents Phil and Harriet were the owners and they were always great to the kids in Inwood. I hung around the candy store everyday just like all  the other kids who lived along Doughty.. They had the greatest Soda Fountain 10 cents for an egg cream soda and the best comic books.  She use to come and visit with her mom every once in awhile and we would sit and her Grandfather  would treat us to the biggest ice cream soda's.

Kim was wondeerful. Very bright I didn't know she was so successful in publishing.
I had no idea they owned Phil's. My dad use to take me there for comic books. Best Breyer's. Amazing.
